On May 14, 2022, at the official ceremony in New York City, Igor Babailov was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, which ranks as one of the most prestigious awards in America. He was selected for his "outstanding leadership and achievements in arts and culture and philanthropic and humanitarian contributions to our nation."
This award is officially recognized by both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives, and the recipients are read into the Congressional Record.
